The services we provide are rooted in our company’s philosophy of environmentally conscientious tree care. By focusing on the trees’ health and longevity, we are able to foster long-term relationships with our clients and witness the lasting results of our efforts.

• Pruning – Tree pruning is performed to enhance the overall health and safety of the tree. Trees may be pruned to improve branch structure, to remove dead or broken branches in the canopy, to create clearance space around or above another object or to restore the tree where damage has occurred.

• Cable and Brace System Installation – Trees with weak branch unions can be preserved and strengthened with the installation of cable and brace systems. These systems can prevent damage to the tree and surrounding property.

• Lightning Protection System Installation – Lightning protection systems can be installed to preserve large or specimen trees at risk for lightning strike. These systems are especially helpful for at-risk trees near homes or other structures.

• New Tree Planting – Planting new trees in the landscape now ensures their benefit to and enjoyment by future generations. Proper tree selection and planting practices are essential for the health and longevity of the tree in the landscape.

• Tree Removal – When the time comes to remove a tree, safety is the first priority. Advanced rigging techniques and cranes are utilized whenever necessary to assure a low-impact and safe removal.

• Stump Grinding – Removal of stump and surface roots to a depth of 10 – 18 inches below the soil grade. The resultant hole is backfilled with stump grindings, leaving a mound of soil and wood chips that typically level out over time. The excess organic material can be used as mulch or compost.

• Plant Health Care Programs – Our Plant Health Care programs provide holistic and preventive approaches to enhance the environment in which trees and shrub grow. Many insect and disease problems can be prevented by correcting cultural conditions and sources of stress. PHC programs are on-going and developed specifically for each property. An individualized program may include any of the following services.

• Insect and Disease Treatment – When problems arise from insects or diseases, our arborists and Plant Health Care technicians can identify, prescribe and implement effective treatments. We are committed to using treatments that are environmentally responsible. Treatments may be applied seasonally or multiple times per season.

• Root Zone Enhancement – Compacted soil restricts oxygen and nutrient availability in the soil, limits water infiltration and inhibits root growth. Soil decompaction techniques correct these problems using high-volume air technology to fracture the compacted soil, which may then be amended with products such as compost or organic matter.

• Root Collar Excavations – Problems commonly arise when trees are improperly planted. Our arborists perform root collar excavations using high-volume air technology to remove excess soil over the root zone, prune girdling roots and expose the root flare of the tree to establish a corrective planting depth.

• Fertilization – Fertilization provides essential nutrients to the tree’s root zone, encourages vigor and enhances the tree’s natural response to stressful conditions. We offer organic-based fertilization to improve the overall health of the tree.

• Consulting Services – Consulting services provide comprehensive, objective viewpoints to the diagnosis, appraisal and evaluations of arboricultural issues. Consulting services may include, but are not limited to, tree valuations for property owners and insurance companies, reports, management plans and tree risk assessment.

• Tree Risk Assessment – Utilizing expert knowledge and modern diagnostic tools, our arborists determine the level of risk a particular tree may pose to its surroundings. Recommendations can be made based on the assessment to mitigate risk, which may include any of the above described corrective services.

• Tree Inventory – A tree inventory can be created for clients with a diverse collection or a large number of trees on their property. Inventories are conducted and recorded using GPS/GIS technology.
